Black Desert Online Keys Giveaway (Reddit Only, PM me)

Main Post:

ALL OUT, pls no more PMs. I'll be giving more keys away on mmos.com (regular giveaway process. 100 keys added every 2 hours) and will give some away via twitch on the mmosdotcom twitch channel in a more... fun way.

I know everyone that wanted one didn't get one :( We have other ways to give them away, but im going to ask my contact at daum for more keys, and if I get some more I'll be giving them away exclusively on mmorpg

Edit: Removed stream, keys are gone :( gave away 100 on reddit, 85 on stream for trivia questions (mmo/gaming related). Was fun. Sean's handeling the giveaway on http://mmos.com/news/black-desert-online-cbt2-key-giveaway (yes it's chaotic, but there's a captcha math problem to prevent bots from getting keys).

Polar Pro PM VNDii Mist vs 1/8 Tiffen Black Pro Mist

Main Post:

If using these filters primarily in low light or contrasty studio lit situations wouldn't it be better to use the 1/8 Black Pro mist instead of having to compensate for the 2 stops of ND. When I see the Polar Pro filters being demonstrated a lot of the times it's in low lit situations in order to show the halation effect. I feel like you'd have to be lighting with 300dii's or super high iso's to get correct exposure. I get the Polar Pro is a superior build quality and is useful in that it can act as a ND as well I just thought it was weird that I primarily see it being used in the lighting situations listed above. I want to get one of these filters and would be using them indoors more often than not... just wanted to make sure I wasn't thinking about it wrong. Thanks

Top Comment: My promist is pretty much glued to my lens. I use it in any lighting condition. It ́s part of the aesthetic I want to create. When doing video outside, it ́s pretty much always paired with an nd. Thats where the polar pro is interesting. Less filters is less quality loss and less issues. I would find it annoying, like you said, that it would be a light loss in lower light situations. When indoors in winter I often already have to amp the iso a bit without an nd. Personally, I ́d go for a separate filter. Combining them doesnt make much sense to me. Unless you always shoot in strong light or already own separate filters for some reason.
